Midlands the heart of England – ‘Puritan studies’ Outreach(Reformation Witness) program

Organized by Puritan International Conference (Essex ‘Puritan Studies’ Conference <ref. to I.P.I.S.>)

[A week Ministry Activities – including the period of conference]


  • Dates: Wednesday 10th to Saturday 13th November 2021
  • Place: Christian Heritage Centre: Bell End, Rowley Regis, West Midlands, B65 9LU (west of Greater Birmingham)
  • 1st part: Ministry of Gospel Outreach & studies (‘A Thousand Praise’ from Wednesday 10th to Friday 12th)
  • 2nd part: Conference of ‘Puritan Historical Studies’ (PIC) from Fri. eve. 12th to Sat. am & pm 13th.


1st part of ‘PIC‘ daily ministry of Reformation Witness/Outreach and Heritage Studies Tour in the fields of various places to visit in and out of Midlands the heart of England.   

(an extended ministry of ‘GO commissioned’ Bridge Ministries of International ‘Reformation Witness’ A Thousand Praise due for his glory!) 

<on the Religious Roots of Puritan Inheritance studies, the British backgrounds>

{From 10th Wed. to 13th Sat. Nov. ’21, right after 400 years anniversary of 1620 Mayflower Pilgrims/Puritans to New England USA} led by Rev. David Min of London City Missioner(form.), Chaplain(D) at SC, Pastor of Bridge Chapel London-International, Lecturer @Melvin Uni. Kenya & Co-founder of Essex Puritan Conference (PIC now)

A. An Open Air Preaching plus & Reformation Witness (Testimony sharing, Street Pastoral/Evangelistic ministry & Evangelistic Tracts/NT Bible distributions supported by Mr. David Carter of W.B.Ch. Organist) Praises singing hymns/Psalms the words at the four corners of Midlands the heart of England!

B. Birmingham Christian Heritage Walking tour – From C. H. Centre, led by Rev. Jung-Ill Shu Birmingham missioner(GBT/WEM) – a number of cars to be shared and go into in and out of Birmingham city centre (site information is provided).

C. Contacts made and visit to various Puritans, Huguenots and Protestant Martyrs’ sites in Midlands including Birmingham’s Deritend & Royal Town of Sutton Coldfield, Kidderminster, Lutterworth, Leicester Kibworth Village, (Harvard’s Stratford upon-Avon if possible), Oxford Martyrs memorial place & Reformation sites on the way back to London on Saturday 13th November ’21 DV.)   

– ‘A memorable experience of historic study tour and Reformation witness’ to be and challenges to our own testimonies & ministries!

At Christian Heritage Centre pm (Thurs. 11th to Sat. 13th Nov.) 

– led by appointed speakers/ministers and missionaries in UK/USA/Korea

1) 2.30 pm: Prayers together (The Christian Institute) Autumn 2021 (for 15’) 

2) 2.45 pm: Praise Psalm singing (Scottish & Anglo Geneva Psalter) led by appointed Praise Warriors of Psalms and Hymns (for 15’)

3) 3 pm: ‘Walking & following Him rightly’ – A Life Project on Zechariah 3:6-10 ‘Daily Christian Life lessons’ of the church(ourselves) reformed, always reforming (ecclesia reformata, semper reformanda) led by Rev. David Min ( for 15’)

4) 3.15 pm: British Christianity – visual/pictorialhistoric lessons from the early part of history  to 21st century and it’s challenges – lessons ‘period by period’ led by Dr. Stephen Westcott (A brief Protestant history account for 20′ each from Thurs. pm & Fri. pm) 

 —— 3.35 pm: Break Time for Coffee or Tea provided (for 30′) ——

5) An exhibition of Korean Bible hand written manuscripts and a display of church mission activities and it’s lessons to the world as it’s represented some organisations in England (Talk for 5′ from 4.05 pm to 4.10 pm)    

* Leaving the CHC building at 4.15 pm (as we respect the opening hours during the pandemic period!)

2nd part of  Puritan International Conference Friday 12th and Saturday 13th November 2021

Friday (Eve.)

6.30pm – 7pm Arrive / Tea & Coffee    

7pm – Brief introduction to CHC and PIC etc 

 7.30pm 1st Lecture: Pastor Gervase Charmley (Stoke-on-Trent), Editor of Peace and Truth Magazine(SGU) – ‘Thomas Hawies and 18th Century Evangelicalism’

Saturday (AM & PM)

10.30am -11am  Arrive / Tea & Coffee 

11 am  Introduction to items today of PIC and  about the ministry of CHC

11.30 am 2nd Lecture: Rev/Dr. Roland Burrows  Director of Christian Heritage Centre, Heritage building in Rowley Regis, Midlands – ‘John Rogers, Bible Translator’ 

12.30 pm – 2 pm  Lunch & Opportunity to look around the Exhibition (suggest all bring packed lunch; drinks provided) 

2 pm Introduction to each other Fellowship & Q/A time together! etc

2.30 pm Final Lecture: Rev. Martyn Pearson (Slavic Gospel Association) speaking on ‘Jonathan Edwards’ his Life and Legacy.

3.30 pm Tea & Coffee / Departure
